Cristian Axon took a photographic approach. The nod to formality and tradition is in the script font and centered text layout. However, the sepia-toned photograph and the horizontal layout of the wedding invitation is more modern and informal.
I could see having stock photography replaced by a photograph of the engaged couple for additional personalization. The designer says "It can be folded by the central vertical axis."
